Keith Lane | Co-Director

Molly Graham is a professional oral historian and radio documentarian. She trained at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine where she produced the award-winning radio documentary, Besides Life Here, which has been licensed by several National Public Radio affiliates. She has her master’s degree in Library Science and Archives Management from Simmons College in Boston. Molly is the former director of the oral history program at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum and Assistant Director of the Rutgers Oral History Archives. In 2013, she co-founded Oral History & Folklife Research, Inc., with the mission of preserving the stories, voices, and cultural traditions of Maine and beyond. Currently, she is the oral historian for NOAA’s Voices Oral History Archives, where she collects, preserves and curates oral histories documenting historical environmental change and its impacts on fisheries, oceans and coasts.

Keith Lane is a multimedia journalist and filmmaker based in Washington, D.C. After graduating from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine he set out to cover the complex socio-environmental issues he'd invested in as a student: war’s long aftermath; natural disaster; environmental devastation; and political unrest. His work has taken him to earthquake-ravaged Haiti, mine-infested fields of Cambodia and, eventually, a politically volatile Cairo, where he both taught at American University (Cairo) and photographed the city’s streets from the 2012 presidential elections to the new president’s ouster in 2013. In 2015, Keith worked on a multimedia investigation focusing on the lives of three Kurdish farmers living near the frontlines of the war with ISIS. Keith has his B.A. in Environmental Studies, an M.S. in Environmental Education and a graduate certificate from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies.

Ameesha Lee | Artist + Illustrator

Ameesha Lee is an Australian art director, illustrator and animator based
in Toronto, Canada. With a love of telling stories through illustration
and moving image, her work strikes a balance of conceptual and graphic while also organic and textural. She is heavily inspired by nature, growing up on the coast of Western Australia where there were endless rock pools and unique landscapes to draw inspiration from.With a background in the design and broadcast industry she has worked
for brands such as Disney, Discovery Channel, MTV and Google and has
had her illustrations shown in world-wide events such as Pictoplasma.
Earthling is her first animated film.

Lola Villa | Sound Design

Lola Villa is an intersectional artist and art director exploring different aspects of the human experience through sound and visuals. She’s an electronic music composer and DJ. When playing, she invokes landscapes, animals and rituals of her homeland, Colombia, along many places she’s lived in. As a producer and a true 80s child, Lola composes hypnotizing rhythms with folkloric and synth elements. Her biggest sources of inspiration are big cities as well as the Amazon rainforest—at both edges of the spectrum, she finds a whole plethora of sounds and vibrations as well as a sense of community and synergy.

Katie Flood | Sound Editor

Katie Flood studied radio documentary at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine, where she began to develop her craft of telling stories that explore questions of meaning in ordinary life. She is the senior producer for several podcasts, including the award-winning Stories of Impact Podcast, and she has more than fifteen years of experience managing post-production for audiobooks across every genre.
